History
From its 1976 origins in Cork, Ireland, Anderco developed into becoming a national provider offering full service solutions in the UK and Ireland. Since its full time safety focus in 1993, the company has enjoyed above average year-on-year growth and made significant progress in sales and development. Anderco now has a 2,000 strong customer base across a wide spectrum of market sectors from manufacturing in pharmaceutical, chemical, construction and electronics to the service sector, government departments and local authorities.
Almost a quarter of a million people benefit from Anderco’s solutions every week. Anderco is proud of its transformation into a full safety and risk management services provider with an all-encompassing solution. We are especially proud that the company continuously demonstrates an ability to retain staff — building a wealth of expertise and client service continuity.

1976 – Formation of Anderco as a joint venture between Richard Irvine Scotland & Irish Ropes 1993 – Management Buy Out of Safety Division 1996- ISO 9002 certified, Anderco was noted as an early adopter within it’s industry. 2001 – Opening of Dublin Sales and Distribution Centre 2006 – Acquisition of Orrwear Protective Supplies, strengthening Anderco’s Dublin presence 2009 – Acquisition of the Cleanroom Supplies Business of IPT giving Anderco strategic access to this market 2009 – Deployment of Business Wide ERP solution providing an IT backbone for expansion and enhanced business management 2010 – Deployment in the UK market with on targeted product category basis. 2011 – Launch of Professional Services Business Unit offering integrated Risk management and Support Services 2011 – Widening of UK product portfolio to include a full service offering to Large Accounts 2012 – Opening of dedicated Training Centre in Dublin providing a comprehensive range of safety related programmes as part of the company’s Professional Service Offering. |
