Course Objectives

Increase safety awareness within the construction industry

The programme aims to alert all site personnel of the inherent hazards of construction sites

Ensure that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training

Supply all participants with a FAS Safe Pass Registration card, indicating that the holder has attended a formal course in health and safety awareness

Please Note
All participants must arrive at 8.15 am sharp for course registration. Delegates who arrive late will unfortunately not be permitted to complete the programme.
All participants must bring their PPS No. and a passport photo of themselves for their Safe Pass Registration card
Mileage @ €0.50 per km and accommodation @ €100 per night may be charged for courses.
English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language. If participants wish to bring an interpreter they may do so but prior notice must be given to Anderco
Who Should Attend?
All construction site and local authority workers (including apprentices and trainees) to ensure that they have a fundamental knowledge of health and safety. Essentially any worker, who alters, interferes or changes a building must in time have a Safe Pass card. Cards must be refreshed every four years.
Pre Course Requirements
Participants must have a good working knowledge of the English language. Courses can be delivered in languages other than English through prior arrangement with Anderco and where all participants on the same course speak the same language
All participants must have one passport photographs with them for registration on the day of training
Assessment / Certification
FÁS Safe Pass Registration card
Participants complete a written exam
On successful completion of the exam participants will be issued with a FAS Safe Pass card
