Course Objectives
On completion of this programme participants will be able to:
- Identify the basic components and structure of a standard Mobile Elevated Work Platform
- Identify its load handling capacities and capabilities

- Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act
- M.E.W.P. Operators Responsibilities
- Accident Prevention
- Written theory Assessment
Practical
- Identify M.E.W.P controls
- Basic Steering Exercises
- Safe use of Hydraulics
- Maintenance Checks
- Practical work by Operators
- Practical Test of Operating Skills
NB: Please note this course is not appropriate for participants of the FAS CSCS Scheme

Mileage @ €0.50 per km and accommodation @ €100 per night may be charged for courses.
English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language. If participants wish to bring an interpreter they may do so but prior notice must be given to Anderco.
