Course Objectives

On completion of the programme participants will be able to:
  • Know the requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
  • List the requirements of the Display Screen Equipment Regulations 2007
  • Identify Health and Safety hazards in offices
  • Use their knowledge of hazards to make the working environment safer

  • Fire Safety and electrical hazards
  • Visual Display Units & Ergonomics
  • Office environment (lighting, air quality)
